This past Friday was a long time coming. It was a trying week, and the man knew just what I needed:
a run, followed by playing “Wikipedia” (which he surprised me with, because we both love playing dorky trivia games), followed by making tacos and margaritas at home!
We have a running Wunderlist of date night ideas, and “Margaritas and Tacos By the Pool” was the man’s doing. I can’t tell you how much fun it was. Good job, sir!
After our run and playing our game at the pool, we went home and made these delicious tacos, comprised of corn, black beans, white onion, bell peppers, zucchini, chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, avocado, cilantro, and lime. YUM!
The man also whipped up some absolutely delicious (and effective) margaritas! The recipe, more or less: 2 ounces of tequila, half an ounce of triple sec, juice of one full lime, a little bit of orange juice, and some agave nectar.
BONUS: BABY SPARROWS!
The sparrow parents who built a nest right outside my apartment door finally have three eager sparrow beaks to feed! The third one is tucked away. They’re so cute!
WHAT’S YOUR IDEAL DATE NIGHT AT HOME?
