TRAVEL, TRAVEL
This past week included a holiday weekend and an office-staff excursion (more on that later)! I’ve gotten tons of exercise, sun, and fun.
Check out the outfits that went along for the ride!
FRIDAY, MAY 27
Ready to get a ton completed at work in preparation for a long holiday weekend!
- green skinny jeans, Gap
- navy lace blouse, Ross
- leopard-print flats, Target
Tired face not included:
So, so ready for a weekend away in Crested Butte!
SATURDAY, MAY 28
After a good night’s rest, I was up early and ready for a road trip with the man to Crested Butte, Colorado.
- flannel shirt, Ross
- blue skinny jeans, Gap
- Sperry boat shoes, DSW
IN LIEU OF SUNDAY, MAY 29
Because I was on vacation, I wasn’t thinking much about Outfits of the Week. I was thinking about trail running with the man and exploring all the deliciousness that Crested Butte had to offer! Since I don’t have a photo for Sunday, here’s a photo of my Date Night outfit from Saturday night.
IN LIEU OF MONDAY, MAY 30
Monday morning, we went out to breakfast and then headed back to Denver pretty early. I didn’t snap an outfit photo. I don’t even remember what I wore. When we got back, we visited the pool briefly before prepping for the week ahead. We were that good type of exhausted after our vacation and settling back into a routine, so here’s a photo of my cat snoozing away on my faux sheep skin throw. You’re welcome! He’s a cutie.
TUESDAY, MAY 31
Back to life, back to reality. I was ready for a good day back to work followed by a night of Grease rehearsal, running all of Act 1 for the first time!
- black skinny jeans, Gap
- polka dot top, Target
- gray cardigan, Ross
- black booties, DSW
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 1
(It’s already the month of June? Geez.) I opted for a casual outfit with a necklace to class it up a bit.
- blue skinny jeans, Gap
- purple top, Ann Taylor
- sweater, Target
- beige suede booties, Target
- necklace, Francesca’s
THURSDAY, JUNE 2
Thursday, the whole magazine staff went on a field trip to Manitou Springs to hike the infamous Incline! It was a long, hot, and sweaty day followed by shopping, tacos and margaritas, and then a long night of rehearsal. I was very gross by the time I got home!
- blue workout tank, Walmart
- running shorts, Nike (bought almost 10 years ago…)
- running shoes, Asics from Kohl’s
- silver non-slip headband, BicBands
And that’s a wrap!
SEE A FAVORITE?
I love how great you look in clothes that were probably good bargains!

Thanks, mama! It’s been a fun challenge. That, and taking older items and finding ways to make them new/exciting again. 🙂 I miss you! ❤

All your tops look really nice but my favourites are the flannel shirt and navy/lace top! 🙂

Thanks! That flannel shirt was like $5 and was an XL. Goes to show!

Your cat is stunning! ❤
May 31 is my favourite outfit. Looks so lovely and comfortable, but stylish.

Ha, this comment makes me laugh, since he is usually a bratty curmudgeon of a cat… but when he’s cuddly, he’s adorable. 🙂

He sounds a bit like my boy. Mine is as moody as anything, but a big softy when my fiancé picks him up and cuddles him!
